Ingredients:

  • 🥬 3 medium beets, peeled and sliced
  • 💧 1 cup filtered water
  • 🧂 1 tsp sea salt
  • 🍋 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional)

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Dissolve salt in water to make brine.
  2. Place beets in a jar and pour brine over them.
  3. Cover loosely and ferment 7–10 days.
  4. Refrigerate after fermentation; enjoy as a side dish or salad topping.
