Homemade Granola Bars

Makes: 12 bars

Total Time: 30 min (plus cooling)

Ingredients:

  • 🌾 2 cups rolled oats
  • 🌰 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 🍯 1/3 cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 🥜 1/3 cup natural nut butter (almond or peanut)
  • 🍇 1/4 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, or chopped dates)
  • 🌻 2 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 🧂 Pinch sea salt
  • 🍫 Optional: 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Toast oats and nuts for 8–10 min.
  2. In a saucepan, gently warm honey and nut butter until smooth.
  3. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  4. Press mixture firmly into a parchment-lined 8x8” pan.
  5. Chill for 1 hour, then cut into bars.
